Environmental policy

The following environmental policy shall be complied with in Patria and in the companies being part of the same corporation:

1. In the Patria Group we take environmental aspects and effects into account in the planning, implementation and management of our business operations.
   
   
2. We aim at foreseeing the environmental expectations of our customers and other interest groups and as applicable keeping them aware of the possible environmental effects of our products and operations.
   
   
3. We take the environmental risks and possibilities into account in our decision making starting from the planning of the investments and product development.
   
   
4. We obey environmental legislation and aim at foreseeing its development. We keep the authorities controlling the environmental affairs informed of our environmental condition.
   
   
5. We aim at efficiency concerning the use of energy, water and raw materials. We prefer recycling as far as economically possible.
   
   
6. We keep our personnel informed of the environmental condition, environmental risks and environmental development goals related to our functions. We also aim at improving systematically the environmental know-how of our personnel.
   
   
7. We review regularly the environmental management and the environmental condition in our business places. We determine corrective actions and set goals for development. The basis is to prevent the contamination of the environment by implementing the principle of continuous improvement.
   
   
8. Patria's subsidiaries have the responsibility of carrying out the environmental policy locally.
