Acoustic Mine Sweep Sonac AMS

SONAC AMS (Acoustic Mine Sweep) is a highly efficient underwater sound source for sweeping acoustic influence mines.
It produces an unlimited number of broadband acoustic signals with a high sound pressure level. SONAC AMS is ideal for operation in shallow water even with small and medium-sized vessels or on remote controlled drones.

Safety and reliability in operation

The wet unit of the SONAC AMS system is designed and full scale tested for extremely high shock resistance against detonating mines. Build-in tests and instrumentation ensure a continuous and accurate information flow to the operator.

Unlimited acoustic signal generation

The wet end sound source can generate an unlimited variety of ship acoustic signals simulating any known surface vessel. These signals can have even a higher source level than the largest cargo vessels.
Real ship signals can be recorded and stored in a signal library on a computer disk. Alternatively, user defined signals can be created by modifying the noise spectrum envelop and adding the desired discrete frequencies and multiples.

System configuration for utmost reliability

The SONAC AMS system consists of a deck unit, wet unit, buoy and buoyant tow cable. The SONAC AMS deck unit features a control computer, signal generation unit, power amplifiers and tuning transformers. The system is controlled by a Windows-based user interface. It can also be linked to external control systems. This enables multi-influence sweeping. SONAC AMS can be operated with all types of magnetic sweep gears.

M2004 - Influence Sea Mine Family

M2004 is a modern multi-influence bottom mine for littoral warfare. The mine is capable of countering both surface and submerged threat. It is easily laid from various surface vessels as well as from helicopters.
Due to the specific shape and multi-functional design of the casing, the mine can also be deployed from high speed platforms. Proper functionality is quaranteed even in the most harsh environment including heavy waters and rocky or muddy bottom.
