MPNDL - Multi Purpose Networking Data Link
Patria has strong skills in data links. Know-how gained in developing Finnish National F-18 Data Link system together with its partners is now utilized in developing a Multi Purpose Networking Datalink (MPNDL) for UAVs. MPNDL offers a solution to fill capability gaps faced in today’s Network Centric Environment. Central features of MPNDL technology are data transfer robustness and relaying capability. Thanks to modular and scalable implementation, the system can easily be adapted to various operational needs.
Currently, an airworthy version is being developed with results also contributing to an international technology program. The first flight tests will be conducted 2009, and operative readiness should be achieved by the year 2013.
