Purpose of the processing personal data, the legal basis for the processing and information on the source of the personal data.
The data subjects can request user rights for the material bank to enable the external distribution of Patria´s marketing communication materials (photos, announcements, logos, printed material etc.)
Patria processes personal data provided by the data subjects, information of what is searched and downloaded from the material bank
Patria processes personal data based on the data subjects consent and/or if the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
Personal data is collected directly from the data subject and additionally from Patria`s computer systems
Categories of personal data involved
The data file only includes information on the data subjects who have requested user rights for Patria’s material bank. Patria collects personal data from their employees, customers, associates and stakeholders.
Patria collects following personal data:
• Full name
• E-mail address
• The company in which the data subject works
The legitimate interests of a controller or of a third party
EU General Data Protection Regulation states that legitimate interest shall not apply to processing carried out by public authorities in the performance of their task, art. 6 (f). Patria in this connection is seen as a public authority.
Patria will examine the necessity case-by-case.
The recipients of personal data and disclosure of personal data
Patria does not disclose data subjects personal data to third parties.
In the process of technical device or software failure investigation, Patria can grant access to computer systems provider. Material bank´s personal data will remain confidential.
Information on the transfer of data to third countries and/or international organisations
Material bank´s personal data is not transferred regularly to countries outside the EU/ETA and international organisations.
Protection measures, description of the technical and organisational security measures
Patria´s data network and server environment is protected by a firewall and other necessary technical measures.
The storage of personal data
Material bank´s personal data is stored for three (3) years. Personal data can be deleted upon the data subjects’ request.
Rights of the data subject
Right of access- The data subject has the right to access their personal data which have been collected concerning them and has the right to be informed how Patria processes their personal data.
Right to rectification- The data subject has the right to demand correction of inaccurate personal data concerning them and to have incomplete personal data completed. This should be done without undue delay.
Right to erasure – Under certain circumstances, the data subject has the right to have their personal data erased from Patria’s Material Bank User Rights Register if Patria is not entitled to use it.
The data subjects can cancel their user rights by contacting , after which their personal data will be deleted from the material bank. This should be done without undue delay unless Patria has a legal basis to continue processing the data subjects personal data.
Right to restriction of processing – The data subject has the right to restrict Patria from using his or her personal data if Patria is not entitled to use it.
Right to object – The data subject has the right to prohibit Patria from using his or her personal data if Patria is not entitled to use it.
Right to data portability – The data subject has the right to transmit his or her personal data to another controller. This can be done if (a) the processing is based on the consent of the data subject or the agreement between the controller and the data subject; (b) the processing is performed automatically and (c) where the transfer is technically possible.
The right to withdraw consent
When the processing is based only on the data subjects consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time and prohibit Patria to use his or her personal data.
The data subject has the right to cancel their user rights by contacting or send written request to the following offices: Helsinki, Hämeenlinna, Tampere or Halli.
Data subjects have to verify their identity.
The right to submit a complaint with supervising authority
If the data subject suspects a data breach, they have the right to submit a complaint with supervising authority. Supervising authority in Finland is Data Protection Ombudsman.
